Good practices

One of the core output of the AGEMI project will be an openly accessible Resources Bank of existing good practices that contribute to foster gender equality in and through the media.

The collection will openly accessible to media industries and other stakeholders willing to implement initiatives in their own organizations to encourage cultural change.

Good practices are collected from around the world, may be of different types – from monitoring to transnational networking – and address a number of issues – such as representation and stereotypes, employment and working conditions, access to media decision-making therein and leadership, or normative standards and governing arrangements.

AGEMI invites media professionals and their organizations to share their good practices and contribute to enrich the Resources Bank by filling in this Google Form. Once completed, the Resource Bank will enable keyword searching to facilitate the identification of particular resources.

We aim at making this Resources Bank a sustainable and ever-growing collection through which gender equality transformative practices can be made visible and better known across the world’s regions.
